Highlights of Women's Group

At our last meeting on Saturday, November 3rd   We discussed the next Chapter which was on "Hannah". We got to learn a little more about each other while enjoying refreshments and doing a couple "ICEBREAKERS".  It was a great morning of fellowship and fun!

We usually also do a project.

Our next meeting is to be January 5th, on Saturday at 9am in the basement. (Follow the signs). All women are invited to join us for the Women’s Group where we will continue with the Sixth Chapter of the book (Mary).

November's Project (Continues in December last day for Hats is December 9th.)

Do you knit or crochet or would you like to learn?  The Women's Group will be making hats for The 500 Hats Project, to go to Frederick Elementary School students in Baltimore.  Judy will collect hats through Sunday 12/9 and deliver them to the group that will take them to the school, along with hats made by prisoners from Jessup (Knitting Behind Bars). This is a year round project, so hats collected after 12/9 will go to next year's giveaway.

The project is open to all, both male and female.

Warm thanks to all who donated yarn and all those who invested their time to knit or crochet for the 500 Hats Project- you are amazing! The array of hats you made is just fabulous! This project is ongoing, so watch for a more permanent bin for yarn and hats.
