Greetings St. Paul. Holy week is fast approaching and I hope you have found comfort in your devotions and preparations for Easter. April is a very busy month and I hope you will take part in as many activities as you can.
I wanted to share with you an update from last month on Sondra Knox. She has turned in her resignation and last day was March 26th. We all want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your service! She will keep in touch and plans to continue to participate as she can in events here at St. Paul. This does mean for now the office is all volunteer again. So a big thank you to all those who have once again stepped-up!
Another update! We continue to have sound problems with Zoom. April 1st the Zoom Committee presented our recommendations to council for the improvements discussed on March 18th. There will be further meetings of the committee and discussions with the council.
As a reminder if you make an announcement during the Sunday service. Please come up front by the font so that those on Zoom can see and hear you!
If you are encountering sound problems in addition to trying phone audio there is an auto caption feature now in the Zoom workplace app. Do the following:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Settings.
- Click the Meeting tab.
- Under In Meeting (Advanced), click the Automated captions toggle to enable or disable it.
Please feel free to use chat to alert me to any problems and I will do my best in the period between now and when we can implement the improvements.
